Estimate only — not tax advice or full tax software. 2026 federal brackets and a simplified state model. Omits local taxes, most credits, and year-to-date wage-base tracking. Confirm with your pay stub or a tax professional.
Fifty-two weekly checks spread FICA and federal withholding more thinly than a monthly check. The annual totals should land close to the annual-frequency view of the same wage if hours stay flat. Unpaid weeks or overtime are not modeled; raise or lower hours on the hourly mode instead.
If you are paid weekly but think in annual salary, switch frequency to annual, enter $80,000, and read the per-paycheck column after changing frequency back — or enter 80000/52 here as we preloaded.
State tax still follows the annualized California (or other state) model, not a weekly wage-bracket table your payroll vendor might use. A few dollars of stub difference is normal. Sources: IRS 2026 brackets, SSA wage base, Tax Foundation state tables. Reviewed August 23, 2026.
